"Service is probably not the most charming at first sight (you have to earn a smile), but the food is excellent, the views stunning and once the owner warms up to you, it turns into a most memorable visit. Make sure to take the serpentine route up from the lake. No pizza for lunches (they heat up the oven only for dinner), but the char wood grill produces the most delicious trout. And the gnocchi with sage butter are divine."

"Hidden gem. Quality > price, affordable, lakeview, well maintained facility, picturesque surrounding area, professional staff, accommodated walk-ins. Located approximately 500m above Gardasee in the mountains, 2-4 degrees cooler than the lakeside. Vehicle parking is located 20m below the village area, the restaurant is located at the end of narrow alley which winds through the historic village. Consider bringing a light jacket to compensate for cooler temperatures. The restaurant does not charge a markup based on the view."

"A proper local restaurant, no touristy stuff! Real authentic and local food. The service was wonderful and polite, explaining everything to us. The home made antipasti/salame was exquisite and tasted fresh. The home made pasta was amazing and the sauces so good. Bit of a trek up windy roads but SO worth it."

"Charming spot in a small village with amazing views on the Garda Lake and surrounding mountains. We ordered across the menu, veg, meat, fish, deserts, everything was delicious and fresh, very well seasoned. The service was great, the ladies really took care of us. There is a free carpark 20m from the restaurnt, visible marked, you won't miss it. I can recommend it with whole my heart."
